The Gallery Yr Oriel presents new body of work by Clare Rose

Published

on

THIS outstanding new body of work by Clare, is one of her hugely inspiring collections of some 30 years of intermittent painting and study-painting experiences.

Originally a self taught painter, Clare gained a first and distinction in BA and MA Fine Art degrees at Aberystwyth University, where she taught for many years.

Clare’s work is available between April 8 – 29

The rhythms of the Pembrokeshire seasons, its landscape and coastline, and in particular the arrival of Spring are the inspiration for many of the paintings, sketching ‘en plein air’ whenever possible, then developing the paintings in the studio.

Many of these paintings explore abstract approaches that reflect a deeper, and more ‘felt’ personal experience, and are an invitation to the viewer to share and creatively reinterpret these sensations.

This exhibition is a must see, no pre-booking required, we would love to see you at the launch on Friday 8th April from 5 – 7pm for refreshments, and the show will be running for three weeks.

No pre-booking required to view the outstanding new body of work

Paper catalogues are available, and the e-catalogue is available on the website www.thegallery-yroriel/whatson/

We are open Monday to Saturday 10am – 5pm, we look forward to seeing you.

Private Dental Practice opens in Carmarthen

Published

Outside of Carmarthen Dental Centre

A PRIVATE Practice in the heart of Carmarthen Town worked tirelessly alongside the Governing Bodies the Health Inspectorate Wales to enable their opening on the 16th August 2021.

The start of building work, to their opening lasted ten months; which is some achievement. Until their opening of the new practice, they were able to see patients at their sister practice, the West Wales Dental Implant Clinic, where full treatment was able to be carried out.

They are a purpose-built practice with two surgeries. The building is light and airy and has all the latest equipment available. There is disabled access to the building, as well as the possibility of parking for patients attending the practice. Currently, the car park is incomplete and still requires construction.

Dr Oliver Badham who hails from Pembroke is their general dentist who has 15 years of dental experience. He is supported by their registered nurse Svetlana Williams, and trainee nurse Catrin James. The reception is covered by experienced receptionist Pam Jones.

Both the Carmarthen Dental Centre and the West Wales Dental Implant Clinic are managed by Erica Day who is also a fully qualified dental nurse as well as being the registered Practice Manager.

Appointments are available immediately for new patients to register and start any treatment needed.

They offer a number of ways to manage the payments for treatment. You are able to pay-as-you-go, or go through a Practice Plan, whereby a monthly fee can be paid which can offer a discount or cover a majority of costs depending on what plan you choose, with guidance from the dentist.

To register and make an appointment please call 01267 643370 or drop us an email to reception@carmarthendentalcentre.co.uk take a look at our website at www.carmarthendentalcentre.
